ABAHR is a volunteer-based organization with no permanent staff. We rely on our volunteer members to advance our mission. We welcome new members to our committees and expect only the level of activity in which you are willing to put forth.
Budget & Finance Committee
The Budget & Finance Committee, chaired by the Board Treasurer, is responsible for reporting on the Association's budget and coordinating with other Committees to generate revenue for the Association.
The Events Committee organizes and plans events, including procuring venues, planning, and executing events.
Marketing/Public Relations Committee
The Marketing/Public Relations Committee creates graphics, flyers and other promotional material about ABAHR events and news to its membership through various outlets including the website, social media, and e-mail. This Committee also provides press releases and coordinates with the media.
The Membership Committee recruits and communicates with the membership, including developing member benefits and resources.
