Virginia Asian Advisory Board Announces the Winner of the 2018 Asian Community Leader of the Year Award
Ms. Angela Chiang has been announced as the winner of the 2018 Asian Community Leader of the Year Award

Ms. Chiang has been a lifelong servant leader to the Commonwealth with over 20 years in a variety of leadership roles in statewide operations, programs, budgeting, and human resource management.  Most notably, her last role was director of operations for the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD) that oversees outreach and financing Ms. Angela Chaing assistance to minority-owned businesses. She has also had leadership roles in or has been recognized by a variety of organizations, including the VAAB, Asian American Society of Central Virginia, Organization of Chinese Americans, VA Asian Chamber of Commerce, Chesterfield County, Girls Scouts, and Bon Secours. She has also led collaborative efforts with Latino community leaders on shared issues.
