ABAHR Responds to Norfolk City Councilman Paul Riddick's Comments about Chinese Restaurant Owners
In light of Norfolk Councilman Paul Riddick's comments, ABAHR supports OCA-Eastern Virginia Chapter's position and appreciates any opportunities to initiate cross-community dialogue and build a strong business alliance across communities in Hampton Roads.

Hampton Roads, Virginia - Recently, in a Norfolk City Council meeting, Councilman Riddick made statements about Chinese restaurant owners that were incorrect.  The Organization of Chinese Americans-Eastern Virginia Chapter responded to dispel these stereotypes and myths (see link below).

The OCA-Eastern Virginia Chapter will participate in a positive cross-community dialogue with leaders in the African-American community.

ABAHR fully supports OCA's position and this opportunity for a stronger business alliance across communities in Hampton Roads.  ABAHR will be participating in this cross-cultural business exchange for the advancement of communities subjected to systemic, overt or clandestine racism in our society.
