Please be our guest at our upcoming monthly luncheon on Wednesday, April 24th, from 11:30AM to 1PM at Kagura Japanese Restaurant. The purpose of these luncheons are to bring like-minded Asian business owners and community leaders together to strengthen the Asian business community in Hampton Roads. Our monthly luncheons are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
April Luncheon Topic: How and Why to Become a SWaM-certified (Small, Women, and Minority) Business
Featuring guest speaker, Angela Chiang, who is the Director of Operations at the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise. She has been working for the department more than eight years and has extensive experience with government procurement, project management, and business development. She is also a Virginia Certified Contracting Officer. Angela has held several management positions in state government agencies and also had her own business for several years. Angela is very active in the Asian community and currently is a board member of the Virginia Governor’s Asian Advisory Board, and a member of the board of trustees for the Asian American Society of Central Virginia.
The cost of the luncheon, which includes lunch and the program, is $15 for ABAHR members and $20 for non-members. This includes lunch, gratuity and a (non-alcoholic) beverage.
