Since AIHR inception in late 1970s’, the organization has been serving the Hampton Roads community as a regional platform for cultural, social, and political exchange by providing exposure to various facets of Indian sub-continent, and highlighting the relationship between the world’s two largest democratic nations, America and India. AIHR provides a bipartisan support to the elected officials of federal, state, and local governments as well as candidates running for those offices.
