The mission of the Asian Business Association of Hampton Roads (ABAHR) is to strengthen the Asian communities of Hampton Roads through cultural, economic, and social empowerment.
ABAHR was originally formed in 2010 as the Asian Association of Hampton Roads. In August 2012 it became the Asian Business Association of Hampton Roads to further define its role as a business organization. Easily explained, ABAHR is a business network. ABAHR's board of directors and general membership consist of business and community leaders of different backgrounds from all corners of the greater Hampton Roads region of Virginia.
"Strength in Unity, Innovation through Diversity"is the motto of ABAHR, adopted at its founding in April 2010.
